Day 01 : Arrival Makassar – Hotel
Upon arrival in Makassar airport, meeting services with the guide and driver. Afterward direct transfer to your hotel located in the town of Makassar.

Day 02 : Makassar – Maros Karst tour Rammang-Rammang – Hotel (B,L)
After breakfast, pick up by guide and drive to the beautiful countryside of Rammang-Rammang is located approximately 1-hour north of Makassar. This scenic area is renowned for its limestone karst formations, amongst which farmers have set-up their homes and crops. You will be driven to a local river in the area for a scenic canoe ride to a small village. There is only room for 1 passenger per canoe so if you are travelling with others and prefer to travel together please let your guide know so that you can take a motorised boat instead which can take more passengers. Disembarking at the village you will enjoy a short hike to the isolated hamlet of Berua. Berua is famous for its small collection of houses in a picturesque setting amongst the rice fields and karsts. Depending upon your speed and stops, the trek will take approx. 45 minutes. Walking around the hamlet you will visit a local home for some refreshments and snacks before you enjoy a canoe ride back to the village where you can sit back and relax as you are paddled through luscious vegetation. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with the view of the Karst. Back at the village you will drive by car to the famous caves of Leang-Leang. The scenic ride passes along quiet roads through local villages and is a great way to enjoy the local scenery. At the Leang-Leang Historical Park you will stop to visit the prehistoric caves where it is possible to see the remains of an ancient cave painting which is believed to be around 5,000 years old. Lunch will be served at local people homes. Before returning to your hotel in Makassar you will visit the Paotere traditional harbour where the famous wooden Bugis schooners, “Phinisis”, come to unload and load their cargo. Continues with a visit to Fort Rotterdam, a well preserved Dutch fortress from the 17th Century. The fort was built upon the ruins of an existing fort called Jum Pandan which gave the city its name at that time, Ujung Pandang. Today this name is still used by locals instead of Makassar. Inside the fort you will visit the Sulawesi section of the Lagaligo Museum which has artefacts and displays on the history and culture of Sulawesi. Continue to Anjungan Losari Beach, the new icon of Makassar, featuring the 4 ethnic groups in South Sulawesi. Here you have to try the traditional dessert, called Pisang Epe (pressed Banana ) while enjoying the sunset. Return to your hotel.

Day 03 : Makassar – Airport – Palopo – Toraja Cycling - Glamping (B,L)
After an early breakfast at your hotel, check-out then transfer direct to airport to catch the flight to Bua Palopo. Arrival Bua Palopo airport, direct transfer to Toraja around 2,5 hours drive. Arrive in Toraja having lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Batutumonga where you will start cycling to Lokomata and experience a moment of the unique Torajan life style around an hour then continue drive to Kapito where you will have the opportunity to sleep on glamorous camping on Glamping Kapitoo in Kapala Pitu village (or cycling to Kapitoo if you still prefer around 2,5 hrs). Check in and free program.

Day 04 : Glamping – Bori - Weaving Center (B,L)
Early wake up for sunrise over the clouds and prepared breakfast on your restaurant and check-out. Drive up to hill to Kattun village to see spectacular panorama surrounding. Afterwards drive down to Rantepao with stop to visit Bori, a megalith site where you can see ancient menhirs that were erected to commemorate the death of a community leaders (or if you would like soft trekking from Batutumonga to Kalimbuang Bori around 2 hours, you will pass through villages and rice fields where you can observe the daily activities of local people and you will get to stop at one of these local houses for a coffee break). Continue to Pallawa & Sa’dan Tubaranna, local Torajan villages known as the weaving center. Lunch at local restaurant in Rantepao. Check in to your hotel and free program

Day 05 : Toraja : Lemo, Kambira, Londa, Karuaya, Kete Kesu (B,L)
After breakfast in your hotel, a full day exploring Tana Toraja. Your first stop will be at one of the oldest burial cliff sites in Toraja, Lemo. With its picturesque location amongst rice fields and distant limestone karts, this is a great place to get an insight into the use of cliffs for Torajan burials and see the traditional Tau Taus - wooden effigies of the deceased which are dressed and placed next to the tomb. Due to the expense of the Tau Taus these tend to be used for members of the upper-class. This burial site is still used today and at times it is possible to see groups of locals creating new tombs on the cliff. It can take months for a new tomb to be chiselled out of the rock. A trail continues past the main cliff face where you can see additional graves. Continue to discover the secrets of baby trees in Kambira. Onwards to Londa with its ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried, but placed among the rocks. Lunch in a local restaurant in Rantepao. Onwards to Kete Kesu with a stop in Karuaya to enjoy the beautiful and typical Toraja panorama, from here we will continue with a short walk to Kete Kesu, one of the oldest Toraja villages. Here you still find two rows of the original village houses, the traditional ancestral houses of the Toraja people, Tongkonan, as well as traditional rice barns with colorful woodcarvings. Before returning to the hotel you will have the opportunity to enjoy some refreshments under one of the houses at Ke'te Kesu. If he is available, we will arrange for the local Christian priest to join you for these refreshments to give you an insight into how the Christian religion handles the ancient animist believes of the Torajans who also consider themselves to be Christians.

Day 06 : Toraja – Palopo - Airport – Denpasar (B)
Early breakfast, check-out. Transfer direct to Palopo airport around 2,5 hours drive and take the flight to Denpasar via Makassar.
